- M.A. in Political Science: M.A. in Political Science develop skills like negotiation & communication skills, writing skills, generic and analytical reasoning, and public response management. It equips you to choose from many promising careers such as law, education, journalism, politics, civil services, etc. After doing post-graduation in Political science students will demonstrate substantive knowledge of institutions, processes and values that shape politics within states and the major theories, concepts, and foundations that help them to understand the complications of political systems. Post-graduation in political science paves the way to higher studies, research and jobs in teaching. This subject deals with the system of governance and analysis of political activities, political thoughts and political behavior. This program covers the major fields of Political Science and offers a rich set of specialization possibilities. Program Outcomes: Two years M.A. in Political Science program is designed to enable the students to:

—Develop conceptual clarity of major theories and concepts of Political Science and related sub-fields.

Comprehend how power operates at different levels: personal/social/domestic and international and their inter-connectedness.

—Analyse public policy formulations, implementation, problems and available public policy choices.

- B.A. (Honours) in Social Sciences ( for the Aspirants of Civil Services ) The Social science programme fosters an interdisciplinary approach to the study of humanities and social sciences, aiming to promote holistic education. This program also assists students in acquiring empirical knowledge of those aspects of human experience that are social, political, economic and geographical. Graduate students can build strong research skills, analytical, reasoning ability and writing skills which can benefit them in multiple carrier paths. Graduation with social science subjects paves the way to different government jobs such as UPSC, PPSC, SSC, PPS and students will be able to get admission in any Master's Programme and law courses.
