-SWOC analysis of the department and Future plans-

(S) Usually there are near about Fourty one (41) students in the department and efforts to increase the number of students will be continued.

(W) Students do not want to work hard, usually in modern age of Pop and Western Music learning of Indian Classical music feels to be very difficult to them.

(O) Students are being given different opportunities to perform classical and folk music for various local and national stages.

(C) Normally, the music is not taught in the schools as a subject, it is taught as a hobby.
